Care
Made from recycled PET bottles. Not suitable for the washing machine but easy to clean with water and soap (without bleach). Although all materials are sensitive to UV radiation and moisture, your outdoor rug will stay beautiful for longer if you air it out and rotate it regularly. To prevent discolouration of the surface underneath and to extend the rug's lifespan, we recommend lifting it off the ground during rain and prolonged damp periods and allowing it to dry thoroughly.
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not wash
Care guide
More sustainable

Our outdoor carpets are developed with a focus on sustainable materials and production. Are the outdoor carpets sustainably made? In collaboration with our partner for outdoor carpets, Rozenkelim, materials such as polypropylene and polyester are chosen. The carpets are made from recycled PET bottles, aiming to reduce the use of single-use plastic. How is reuse applied in the outdoor carpets? Rozenkelim gives antique and vintage carpets a second life. Carpets that are less popular in their country of origin are given a new purpose elsewhere. Carpets that can no longer be fully restored are still used, for example as patchwork for cushions or carpets. How is transport and packaging made more sustainable? The carpets are folded instead of rolled, allowing more products to be shipped per delivery and reducing the number of shipments needed. Transport is done by truck instead of air freight. The packaging is made of white recycled plastic. Thanks to the sustainable materials, the outdoor carpets are environmentally friendly and designed to last. At Pip Studio, we continue to improve our processes to further enhance sustainability.
